Short biography: Nicky Henson

For the Donmar: Passion Play (Comedy Theatre) Enter the Guardsman, Frame 312 (Olivier Award Nomination).

Theatre credits: For the RNT: The Cherry Orchard, Macbeth, The Woman, The Double Dealer, A Fair Quarrel, The Browning Version, Harlequinade, The Provok'd Wife, The Elephant Man, Mandragola and Long Time Gone. For the RSC: Man and Superman - The Merry Wives of Windsor and (Olivier Award Nomination) As you like it: Twelth Night. London theatre credits since 1963 include: All Square, Camelot, Passion Flower Hotel, The Canterbury Tales, The Ride Across Lake Constance, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Taming of the Shrew, Cinderella, Mardi Gras, Rookery Nook, Noises Off (original production), The Relapse, Sufficient Carbohydrate, Journey's End, Ivanov, Much Ado About Nothing, Three Sisters, Matador, Reflected Glory and An Ideal Husband (Old Vic, Broadway and Australia). Jumpers (West End Broadway). He was a Founder Member of the Young Vic where his credits include: Waiting for Godot, Scapino, The Soldier's Tale, She Stoops to Conquer, Measure for Measure, Oedipus, The Wakefield Nativity Plays, Romeo and Juliet, The Maids, Deathwatch, Look Back in Anger, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and Charley's Aunt.

Film credits: He has performed in over 30 films. Including: Witchfinder General (U.S, 'The Conqueror Worm'), There's A Girl In My Soup, Psychomania & Me Without You. Vera Drake. Syriana.

Recent Television credits: Blue Dove and NCS Manhunt.

Nicky cut his first single in 1961 and had a three year contract writing songs for THE SHADOWS and CLIFF RICHARD.

He was a founder member of the Young Vic company and has appeared in many shows both in the West End and rep. including:
